General Studies: 3 Steps to Your Next Class
Step 1: Choose Your Classes
Please download the following schedule and choose the classes that you would like to take.

As Eastern University is transitioning to a new Student Information System (SIS) we are only able to register you for courses running in the next two sessions. The above schedule will reflect that change. The above schedule may be updated throughout the term.
Current Session Courses
Look here for the course dates in which you have already registered.
IMPORTANT: Students who are already part of Eastern University should contact their Academic Advisor prior to registering for a General Studies course.
Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. Classes may close prior to their advertised registration deadline. Please submit your registration as quickly as possible to ensure that you will get into the classes that you want.
Step 2: Register
All general study registration forms need to be submitted electronically with an Online Registration Form.
IMPORTANT: Registration must be received by the Session registration deadline that is noted on the Schedule, in Step 1.
Financial Aid Eligibility: You must register for a minimum of 3 credits per session. Make sure you have your Financial Aid paperwork completed before your first course begins.
Step 3: Locate & Purchase Your Books
You will be able to obtain your textbooks through the Follett Bookstore for the entire session and bill the costs of the textbooks to your student account.
Some of the benefits in purchasing your textbooks from Follett are:
- You may purchase new or used, and some textbooks are available to rent in a digital format
- The East Falls Bookstore has a Rent-A-Text program which means less upfront cost
- You may use your Student Account to purchase or rent textbooks online at this address http://www.eastern-eastfalls.bkstr.com
- Orders may be shipped directly to you or picked up at the East Falls Bookstore
Eastern University uses Follett Book distributors to make our textbooks available to our students. Please use the following link, How To Locate Your Textbooks, to access information on how to access your required textbooks. You are not required to purchase your books through Follett, but you must go to their website to identify the required textbook(s) for your courses.
Bookstore Website - After clicking on the Bookstore link to the left, then place your cursor over the top of the "Books" tab at the top of the screen, and in that drop down window click on "Texts & Course Materials". Then you may enter your needed information to determine which book(s) are required for your course.
