Admissions Procedures

Eastern University's Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies (CCGPS) offers graduate academic programs specifically designed for adult students seeking an opportunity to earn a graduate degree. 

Admissions Requirements

• An undergraduate cumulative GPA from the degree granting institution of 2.5 or above
• Two professional recommendations
• Educational background in both qualitative and quantitative subject areas sufficient to provide foundational skills for courses within the program
• Three years full-time professional work experience (post-baccalaureate) within the field related to the applicant's program of choice, including significant supervisory and leadership responsibilities, or a minimum of five years of such work experience
• A curriculum vitae or resume indicating work and educational history
• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
• Applicants whose native language is not English must submit the official results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a computer-based score of 213 or a paper-based score of 550

• $35.00 non-refundable application fee (payable to Eastern University)
• Official transcript from the accredited college or university where you earned your bachelor's degree
  • Avoid delays. Request your transcript early.
  • An official transcript must be mailed directly from the institution to The Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies in a sealed envelope to the address below.
  • You will need a personal copy of your transcript for your own use in the program. Please request an additional copy for your own records. We cannot provide copies of the transcript to you.
• Two professional recommendations indicating your ability to pursue graduate studies in the field of business administration or management
• A curriculum vitae or resume indicating your complete work and educational history
• A minimum 800 word, typed essay in which you respond to the following: 
  a) Discuss how Eastern University's graduate program will relate to your professional goals.
  b) Describe your leadership role or achievements in a significant professional or organizational accomplishment.
  c) Discuss why you have chosen to apply to Eastern University's graduate program.

During the admissions process, we will give special consideration to:  

• Your potential to successfully complete rigorous academic requirements and contribute to a highly interactive, intensive classroom experience.
• Your motivation for pursuing the Fast-Track MBA® degree as indicated in the essay portion of your application, your letters of recommendation, and – when requested – a personal interview.
• Your leadership ability based on performance in the workplace, the classroom, and your community.
