Admissions Procedures - BA in Management of Information Systems

Eastern University's Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies (CCGPS) offers undergraduate academic programs specifically designed for adult students seeking an opportunity to complete an undergraduate degree. 

Admissions Requirements

• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better
• Two professional recommendations
• A minimum of 60 transferable semester hours/credits from accredited institutions (Only course work with a grade of "C" or better is transferable)
• *Prerequisite courses:  Accounting Fundamentals, Business Communications, Business Statistics, Macroeconomics 
• Demonstrated professional work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Usage of Internet and e-mail
• Understanding of browser and foundations in Information Systems
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Minimum age:  21

*Subject areas represented in the prerequisite courses are instrumental for success in the Management of Information Systems program; they ensure preparation for further coursework within the major. These requirements can be waived if taken previously or if competency in the subject areas can be demonstrated. Prerequisites do not have to be completed prior to beginning the program, but must be fulfilled by the beginning of the third term.

• $25.00 non-refundable application fee (payable to Eastern University)
• Official transcript from each college or post-secondary institution attended
  • Avoid delays. Request your transcripts early.
  • An official transcript from each college or post-secondary institution attended must be mailed directly from the institution to The Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies in a sealed envelope to the address below.
  • You will need a personal copy of your transcripts for your own use in the program. Please request an additional copy for your own records. We cannot provide copies of the transcripts to you.
  • Please mail one transcript request form directly to each college/institution you attended. (Contact the college/institution for its fees and transcript processing requirements.)
• Two professional recommendations from people in the workplace qualified to evaluate your initiative, cognitive ability, responsibility, integrity, communication skills, and professional goals. (i.e. supervisor, employer, director, counselor, etc.)
• Professional resume indicating computer skills
• Writing sample
• Official high school transcript/GED certificate
  • An official high school transcript verifying graduation or a GED certificate must be mailed directly from the institution to The Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies in a sealed envelope to the address below. 
  • Send the high school transcript request form to your high school. (Some schools charge a small processing fee, so we suggest you contact the school to determine its requirements before mailing the request.)
  • Be sure to indicate any other names you have used such as a maiden, married, family name, etc.
