BA in Organizational Leadership
The purpose of the Organizational Leadership program is to produce graduates who are informed by a Christian vision of transformational leadership, skilled in the essential disciplines of effective leadership, knowledgeable of how organizations function, and prepared to effect positive change both within and through those organizations.
The courses are of three types, representing the three categories of learning objectives to be achieved by the program:
- Skill and Character Development —these courses focus on the student and his/her transformation into a potential leader of skill and character
- Organizational Theory —these courses focus on the theory and behavior of organizations, with a special emphasis on leading and changing those organizations
- Organizational Functional —these courses focus on particular functions of organizations, with a special emphasis on the role of the organizational leader in the accomplishment of these functions
