
BIOKINETICS LAB
The Eastern University Biokinetics Laboratory is fully equipped with state of the art metabolic measurement systems, 12-lead EKG, treadmills, Monark cycle ergometers, an upper body ergometer, hydrocollator, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, EMG biofeedback, a paraffin unit, a collection of body composition measurement devices and a variety of therapeutic rehabilitation equipment. The facility is creatively designed to serve as an exercise science lab, a kinesiology practicum space, a health and fitness assessment clinic, an athletic training and rehabilitation simulation lab, and a "smart" classroom.
VO2Max test performed by students in the Exercise Testing and Prescription course taught by Dr. Tracey Greenwood in the Biokinetics Lab in McInnis Learning Center.
