Stewardship:
Each course in the Marketing major will use the teachings of Jesus Christ as a foundation. Specifically, students in the major will be guided in context to Christian Faith and Service. They will also be challenged to think through their faith and actions during discussions that address issues such as: creating safe products, avoiding false and misleading advertisements, rejecting high pressure sales tactics, appropriateness of taking bribes in cultures where it is the norm, not manipulating the availability of a product for purpose of exploitation, disclosure of the full price associated with any purchase, and maintaining honesty in research by avoiding misrepresentation and omission of pertinent research data. As the Bible says "He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out" (Prov. 10:9)
