What We Offer
Majors We also offer... What makes Eastern’s music department distinctive is our mission, our location, and our human resources. Our motto is “Music is for life.” It goes beyond competition and even achievement to the eternal.
Our faculty members are performing scholars. They sing or play in such professional ensembles as The Philadelphia Opera Company, The Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, the Philly Pops, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Jubilate Deo Chorale and Orchestra, and the Delaware Symphony.
Opportunities through our major include available internships, apprenticeships, professional semester off-campus, touring, and networking with area arts organizations.
