Addiction Studies Concentration

addiction studies

Eastern University, in partnership with Gaudenzia, Inc., provides an Associate of Liberal Arts degree, with a concentration in Addiction Studies. With this two- year associates degree, graduates of the program will receive a liberal arts education that includes additional courses, courses that are needed in order to apply for Associate Addiction Counselor Certification (AAC) from the Pennsylvania Certification board. Students are also equipped to transition to Eastern’s bachelor’s degree programs.

This 64 credit hour degree program is an accelerated learning experience that combines in-class and on-line adult learning sessions. Students carry three classes at a time over the course of seven 12-week terms. The in-class sessions meet two evenings per week. This schedule allows for a concentrated learning experience to coincide with a full-time work schedule and family activities.

Currently, the Addiction Studies program is offered in Norristown, PA.
