Counseling Psychology Department
M.S. in School Psychology

Eastern University offers a Master of Science Degree in School Psychology, training students to become competent, broadly educated school psychologists in pre-K to 12 school settings. The Master of Science in School Psychology Program is distinctive in many important ways:
- courses are taught by Christian faculty who are actively engaged in the field.
- evening and blended courses (a combination of on-line and on-ground delivery) are offered to accommodate the working student.
- students learn to integrate scientifically-based knowledge with practical experience to serve students in diverse settings through assessing their needs and abilities.
- students select their own practicum and internship sites in surrounding community schools.
This 60-credit degree program leads to Certification in School Psychology in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Graduate students receive training in the competency areas established by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) and those set by the National Association for School Psychologists (NASP). NASP allows graduates from our non-accredited program to apply for national certification.
