What is PRAXIS II?
PRAXIS tests measure the basic academic competence and professional preparedness of teaching certification applicants. The successful passing of these tests is required for PA teaching certification. Students are encouraged to take PRAXIS II test(s) in their certification area(s) toward the end of their education coursework before student teaching. Check Education Testing Services' website to learn about PRAXIS tests, registration, and test dates and location.
