S-PSEA (Student-PA State Education Association)
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Bill Yerger (wyerger@eastern.edu)
S-PSEA stands for Student-PA State Education Association. This club is affiliated with the PA State Education Association and the National Education Association. As a campus chapter member, one is entitled to informative publications, presentations by professionals, legal coverage in case of a lawsuit during student teaching, and many other benefits. The group is active in planning and assisting in activities that benefit children such as donating books to schools in need and volunteering for children's activities led on and off campus. The group also provides special services for education majors such as making tri-folds and book orders available on campus. This Eastern University chapter is unique in that we strive to better ourselves and our community’s view of educating children for God’s glory. For more information, visit the S-PSEA website at www.psea.org.
