From the Chair

Welcome to the School of Leadership and Development (SLD)!

As incoming Chair, I have had the privilege and blessing of working at SLD in the Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies at Eastern University for the last four years, directing and teaching in the MBA in Economic Development and MA in International Development programs. During this time, I have come to love and respect my colleagues here at SLD and at the other two wonderful degree programs we offer, the MA in Organizational Leadership and the MS in Nonprofit Management.

We are part of a lengthy tradition, guided by the University's focus on faith, reason and justice. Our thousands of graduates are working in nonprofit, for-profit, state, government, and multilateral organizations in the United States and around the world. We have endeavored to build on this history by continuing to craft our programs so that they are academically rigorous, intense, current, rooted in God's Word, and geared towards preparing you for a lifetime of service.
