The Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies
BA in Elementary, Special and Early Childhood Education

This accelerated cohort program, offered by the Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies (CCGPS), is designed to help qualified working adults complete a bachelor's degree in elementary, special and early childhood education in five terms (63 credits). Those who fulfill PA certification requirements (2 math college courses, 1 English composition, 1 English literature, 3.0 GPA, and successful completion of PRAXIS I & II tests) and successfully complete student teaching in the elected 6th term (either at the undergraduate or the graduate level), will acquire the PA teaching certification.
The BA in Elementary, Special and Early Childhood Education is offered in Philadelphia (3/17/08) and St. Davids (4/15/08).

Admission Requirements
- Sixty-three credits or AA degree
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better (for credits transferred),
- Minimum age of 21,
- Demonstration of appropriate writing abilities,
- Satisfactory submission of the Application for Admission and supporting documents.

Program Distinctiveness

The Term 6 is elective and can be satisfied at the end of the bachelor’s degree (15 credits) or at the beginning of a master’s program (9 credits). Students who wish to elect the semester at the graduate level must be officially admitted into the M. Ed. in Multicultural Education or non-degree certification programs.
