Shark Tank Event (Traditional Undergraduate)

Main Campus (St. Davids, PA): The College of Business and Leadership, along with ENACTUS, will hosted the 6th annual Shark Tank Event on March 30th, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the McInnis Auditorium on Eastern's St. Davids campus. The Shark Tank competition consists of Eastern Entrepreneurial students presenting their business ideas to a panel of local business experts in order to win a cash prize. Door prizes are also given out in raffle forms for the attendees. The event is free and open to the public.

ENACTUS is a non-profit organization that stands for "Entrepreneurial Action Us" which is a community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better more sustainable world.

New Venture Project Defense Day

Main Campus (St. Davids, PA): The New Venture Project (NVP) Defense, commonly referred to as NVP "D" Day, presented the opportunity for outgoing students to both "sell and defend" their respective business venture based on their final business plan. The event, hold on June 18th, 2016, took place in front of a mixed Panel of Judges comprised mainly of faculty, alumni, business leaders and administration. These key stakeholders acted in the role of investors and venture capitalists seeking new business opportunities. Their primary goal at the end of each event was "to invest or not to invest" in the venture.

Christian Business Networking Event

Main Campus (St. Davids, PA):The College of Business and Leadership hosted a Christian Business Networking Event on Wednesday, April 6 at 5:30PM in McInnis Auditorium.  Marcus Allen, CEO Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania, addressed students, faculty and local business owners about networking and mentoring opportunities.

Main Campus (St. Davids, PA): Eastern University's Executive Seminar, "Faith Integration in Corporate Leadership" was held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in the McInnis Auditorium on Eastern's St. Davids Campus (1300 Eagle Road, St. Davids, PA 19087).  The event was open to the public and featured Thomas M. Petro, President and CEO of Fox Chase Bank as the speaker.

Main Campus (St. Davids, PA):  Eastern University’s College of Business and Leadership hosted a Christian Business Networking Event on Thursday, April 23 at 5:30PM in McInnis Auditorium. The event speaker, Julius Walls, Jr., presented a message titled, “Who Are You?” which discussed three questions that are essential to living the life for which we were conceived. Read More

MBA Executive Seminar

Shark Tank

October 4, 2014 

Main Campus (St. Davids, PA):  The Executive Seminar provided an opportunity for MBA students to learn from business leaders about relevant business issues. Speakers incorporated some aspect of the qualitative skills of management, leadership, marketing and/or ethics into their presentation, while keeping in mind the Christian worldview at Eastern. The keynote speaker was branding consultant, writer, and creative director Paul Vinod. Paul recently worked with Eastern University on their Wake Up The World re-branding.

MBA Shark Tank

September 13, 2014

Main Campus (St. Davids, PA):  The MBA Shark Tank on September 13th was a great success! The Shark Tank also known as "D Day" is the culminating event for Eastern MBA in Management and Health Administration students. Students "sell and defend" their New Venture Projects (business plans for new ventures of their own design). Big thanks to Eastern alumni who participated as judges and helped make this event a success. We hope to see you at the next Shark Tank.  Learn more
