Jack Bower is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Eastern University, where he has taught since 1984. He served for 18 years as the elected auditor of Upper Merion Township and was a candidate for PA State Auditor in 1992. He also has served on the board of directors of several nonprofit organizations, including 10 years as the Treasurer of Norristown Ministries, which operates a day-shelter for the homeless in Norristown. Professor Bower has work experience in Thailand and has also worked as an international auditor in the Caribbean and Kenya. Dr. Bower's latest book is Accounting Through the Eyes of Faith, 3rd edition. Dr. Bower is also the recipient of the 2004 Lindback Award for Excellence in Teaching.
