Nancy directs the Children’s Choir program at Wayne Presbyterian Church. She is a graduate of The Baldwin School and Bryn Mawr College with a degree in music theory and music history. She has taken further study in Orff-Schulwerk, the Kodaly Concept, children’s vocal development, and children’s choirs at many universities including West Chester University and Westminster Choir College. She has had the honor of working with Helen Kemp as a summer assistant, a rehearsal accompanist, and a performance pianist for summer session workshops and children’s choir festivals. Miss Moffitt has studied and taught piano and voice for many years. Her piano training culminated in her work with Gordon Stanley. Before his retirement to Bryn Mawr, Mr. Stanley was head of the piano department at The Julliard School of Music for 32 years.
