Merit Scholarships
National Scholastic Award- $16,500.00 - For accepted students, a limited number of $16,500 awards will be given to National Scholastic Finalists and Semi-Finalists. This scholarship is based on PSAT results. Renewable through yearly criteria.
Templeton Honors College Official Website- $13,000 to full tuition. Students that meet the following criteria, SAT 1350 or above, ACT English 30 or above, or in the top 9% of their class are eligible to apply for the Templeton Honors College program and grant; valued between $13,000 to full tuition (renewable each year; if meets annual criteria). Faith-Based High School Award- 1/2 tuition. Half tuition award is given to the graduates of faith-based high schools who are committed to commuting to Eastern University from their parent's/legal guardian's house. Students may not be a resident on campus to receive this award. Apply today to see if you are eligible.
Academic Scholarships/Grants For Incoming First Year, International or Transfer Students - Up to $11,000. Scholarship amount ranges from $3,000-$11,000. Students who apply to Eastern are considered for an academic scholarship upon acceptance. Scholarship amount is based on class rank and/or High school cumulative GPA, SAT scores, reference's and essay(s). Transfer students are also eligible with the inclusion of official college transcripts. Renewable through yearly criteria. Apply today!
Music Scholarships- Official Website- Up to $5,000.00. Music majors must audition before April 1 to be eligible for a limited number of scholarships ranging from $500-$5000. To make an appointment for an audition call the music department at 610-341-4397. If you have specific questions about the Music program email Ron Matthews at rmatthew@eastern.edu.
Leadership Scholarship - Official Website- $2,000.00. Leadership Grants are available for 20 entering first-year students who have demonstrated leadership potential through high school, church or community positions of leadership. Eligible students must have at least a 3.5 cumulative average. Grants are for $2,000 a year and are renewable annually if all program requirements have been met. Wilson Goode Scholarship Program- $2,000.00. Annually, the W. Goode Scholars Scholarship at Eastern will be awarded to twenty first-year students (only) with preference for students from urban areas. To be eligible to apply, must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or rank top 30% in class, and service-minded with displayed leadership abilities. Recipients will receive $2,000 grant (renewable each year if in good standing with the program criteria). Potential dance majors may qualify for a limited number of Dance Scholarships ranging from $500-$1500. Contact the Dance department to arrange an audition at 610-341-1739.
Legacy Award - $1,000.00 - awarded to an entering student of a parent or grandparent that is an alum of Eastern University.

Matching Grants & Discounts
Young Life Matching Grant**- Official Brochure: Up to $4,000.00. The Young Life Development Program Matching Grant is a partnership between Young Life and Eastern University. There are several ways to receive grant money through this partnership (ie. YL participation in high school, taking a YL leadership training course while at Eastern and/or getting a matching gift award from EU and YL). Church Matching Grant**- Access form: If your church donates money toward your educational costs from their unrestricted budget, and the students has need, Eastern will match that money up to $1,000 for the academic year (if there is no need, then up to $500). Need is determined by the student filing a FAFSA. The Church Matching Grant Application Form must be received by Eastern by the May 1st deadline and the church's check must be received by the July 15th deadline for the church funds to be matched.
** Eastern MATCHES a MAXIMUM of $1000 total (for need-based families) from any combination of match programs.
Ministerial Discount - Access form: Eastern University will provide a $500 Ministerial Discount for eligible undergraduates, ordained ministers, missionaries, or their undergraduate dependents, for the current academic year.
Need Based Aid (other)
Eastern University Grant- Awarded to students that still have financial need after federal and state sources have been awarded and is applied using Eastern University financial aid and admissions award parameters. Need is determined by FAFSA.
Student Aid Fund Award- Funded through the generous donated support of alumni, parents and friends as well as churches, organizations and foundations. All undergraduate students with financial need are eligible, which is determined by filing the FAFSA.
Federal Work Study- The Federal Work Study program is designed to give part-time employment to students to help meet the cost of their attendance. Students must submit the FAFSA and meet all Federal Eligibility requirements. Students work for an hourly rate, submit biweekly timesheets, and receive a pay check for hours worked.

Advent Christian Partnership - Berkshire Christian College and Eastern University have established an academic program on Eastern's campus which prepares Advent Christian young people to become the church's future leaders. Also, Berkshire is offering scholarship aid for qualifying students who enroll at Eastern.
