Hi. My name is Jim Henderson, and I am the Director of Marketing for the College of Arts and Sciences at Eastern University. I am also the associate head coach of Eastern's Mens Soccer program.
Graduating in 1999, I was fully prepared by Eastern for the professional opportunities that were ahead. With a degree in Sports Management, I spent my first years as the Director of Operations for the South Jersey Barons Professional Soccer Team (1999 National D3 Pro Finalists and 2-time North Conference Champions). Now I am back at Eastern, having completed my Master's in Business Administration in 2003.
I enjoy spending quality time with my wife, Rita (Orlando) Henderson '00, whom I met as a sophomore at Eastern, and my daughter, Isa. I enjoy soccer-related activities, fantasy sports, video games, movies, and a variety of music. Rita and I are active members of Storehouse Church in Plymouth Meeting. Consistent with Eastern's mission, recently my wife, daughter and I have also enjoyed making an impact through a charity called "Wheels for Wells."
