My name is Jill Hay and I’m glad you are looking to find out more about Eastern University!  I would love to hear about your plans for the future and help you answer any questions that may come up in your college search. I may be biased since I did graduate from Eastern in December 2006; but if you have an authentic desire to be challenged and encouraged in a community of people who seek to know and follow Jesus-Eastern is the place for you.

Even if you’re not exactly sure where you fit in terms of a college major or a career at this point, know that the education, relationships, and growth you will experience as a college student at Eastern will equip you to be part of a mission greater than serving yourself.

Two years ago, I graduated from Eastern with a B.A. in Communication and a concentration in Media Studies.  During my years at Eastern, I was involved as a member of Transformed, worked as a Service Learning Counselor, worked at the Eagle’s Nest and Jammin’ Java (our on-campus café and coffee shop) and studied film in Los Angeles with a program that is offered to Eastern students called “Best Semester”.  The study abroad opportunities at Eastern are tremendous and in those four months, I was offered incredible hands-on experience.

I would love to hear about your interests and passions and how you feel you would fit into the community at Eastern, and if you’d like, I will share more of my story with you!  I look forward to getting to know you more, seeing your face on campus for visits and hearing from you whenever you have questions!
