SCANDAL OF EVANGELICAL POLITICS CONFERENCE AT PALMER SEMINARY MARCH 28-30
How should I vote in 2008? What issues are most important to God? This conference addresses these and other timely questions. FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK COLLECTING CONTEST DEADLINE APRIL 4

Eastern University undergraduate students collect books and share their interests. Deadline for entries is April 4. Contest rules: Six to ten books may be entered per collection. The collections will be judged on the basis of depth of personal interest, unity of purpose and potential value for future scholarship. Include a one-page paper that lists your name and contact information, the titles of each book in your collection, a short description of each, and why you chose these books for your collection. Friends of the Library invite Eastern University students to enter. Submit an essay that will "Describe the effects of the Internet on Spiritual Life." We are looking for well-crafted essays; length must be at least 400 words and must not exceed 750 words; essays must be the original work of the applicant. Plagiarism in any form will result in disqualification. Please cite any and all resources. Submit all entries electronically to Jim Sauer at jsauer@eastern.edu. Entries must include the writer’s name, year, major and contact information. Winners will be contacted by phone or email. Awards will be presented at the annual Friends of the Library Dinner at Eastern University on April 25.

WANTED! STUDENT PHONATHON CALLERS
Needed for the Spring 2008 Student Aid Fund PHONATHON. If you enjoy talking on the phone and want to help raise funds to support STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, please call Mary Gardner at X5961 to set up a phone interview. This is a PAID POSITION and it can be your second job. We will accept Federal Work Study or ECCE students. You are required to work a minimum of 3 of the 16 nights. Training, which will be held on Sunday, March 30 from 6- 9PM, is mandatory. The phonathon will run for three weeks beginning March 31. Calling times are 6-9PM, Monday-Thursday.
