DR. MAZZOLETTI SPEAKS ON INTERNATIONAL MARKETING JAN. 31
Several faculty from Eastern University have been visiting Luiss University in Rome, Italy over the past year where they presented topics on fundraising, organizational management, and quality assessment from a U.S. perspective. In an ongoing collaboration with our European counterparts, we will host a visit with the Dean of Luiss University, Dr. Paolo Mazzoletti. He will give a free lecture and presentation at Eastern’s St. Davids campus on fundraising, marketing, and management tactics for Nonprofits (NGO’s) from a European perspective on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Gough Great Room. TOUR A "GREEN" HOUSE FEB. 7
The Greener Eastern Initiative, sponsored by SIFE, SGA, and Earthkeepers, invites the Eastern community to tour a house in Wayne which has been renovated to be one of the most "eco-friendly" houses in America. The owner, Charlie Szoradi, is CEO of GREENandSAVE.com, and will give the tour and answer questions on how to be more environmentally friendly. The tour is Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10a.m. to 1p.m. It’s free for Eastern community members. Address is 356 Homestead Rd., Wayne PA 19087. Transportation is available; vans will leave the gym parking lot at 10a.m.

The Eastern University Cheerleading Squad is holding its annual Children's Cheer Clinic on Saturday, Feb. 14 starting at 10:30 a.m. It will be held in the Rec. Princeton Theological Seminary Homiletics Professor Dr. Cleophus J. LaRue will deliver the annual Mitchell Lecture at Palmer Seminary on Monday, Feb. 16, beginning at 10 a.m. The lecture will be followed by the Mitchell Luncheon beginning at 12:15 p.m. Cost of the luncheon is $20 per person; reservations should be made by the Feb. 13 deadline. Kramer Drive, Inc. is a stationery and invitation company located at 205 E. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne. We are looking for a student this semester to photograph and Photoshop our work to create photo books of our samples. These will be professional looking, soft bound albums to provide to vendors, venues, magazine editors and for our in-house display. A gallery will also be created to use on our Web site to highlight our custom work. Student will be responsible for photography, layout, editing and implementation of the albums. Unpaid position, but will work with your faculty advisor to create a for-credit internship. Otherwise, stipend possible. DELCO SYMPHONY FEB. 8 AND MARCH 1
The Delaware County Symphony will present the third of its Chamber Concert Series for the 2008-2009 season on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 3 p.m. in the Meagher Theatre at Neumann College, Aston, PA.
