Eastern University Athletics
Affiliations:
Eastern University is a Division III member of the
National Collegiate Athletic
Association (NCAA) and participates in the
Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC).
Members of the PAC include:
Alvernia College, Arcadia University, Cabrini College, Cedar Crest College,
College Misericordia, Gwynedd-Mercy College, Immaculata University,
Marywood University, Neumann College, Rosemont College and Wesley College.
The Conference is based upon NCAA Division III philosophies and strives to be
recognized in this context. The concept of the true student-athlete is the basic
precept of the association. The members believe the student who participates in
intercollegiate athletics at our institutions is playing for the true love of
sport. We further believe the playing field is an integral aspect of the total
educational experience imparted by each institution.
The champion of each PAC sport receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division
III National Championship Tournament.
