2005-2006 PAC Players of the Week:

  • March 27: 
    Kate Hoy: Women's Lacrosse:
    Hoy named PAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending March 26th. The junior midfielder from Tully, New York earned the award with a 15 goal and one assist week as the Eagles won two PAC games and fell on the road at Swarthmore. The two-time all PAC selection  now has 20 goals on the young season.
  • February 6, 2005:
    Bobby Black: Men's Basketball: The 6'2" Junior guard from Philadelphia led the Eagles with 21.3 points per game in a 2-1 PAC week. Black hit on 67% of his three point attempts on the week.
  • October 30, 2005:
    Shane Rineer: Men's Soccer:
    The senior midfielder from Lancaster, PA (Penn Manor) earns his first career Player of the Week award for his work in the Eagle's 1-1 week. Rineer scored a goal and added an assist in Eastern's 3-2 overtime loss at Kean, but it was Rineer's work in the defensive end of the midfield against Arcadia in a 1-0 overtime win that earned the award. Rineer is the third Eastern Men's soccer player to earn the award this Fall.
  • October 30, 2005:
    Stephanie Frank: Women's Soccer:
    The junior forward from Harvey's Lake, PA (Lake Lehman) earns her second player of the week honor for the year. The two time first team All-PAC selection scored four goals in two home wins for the Eagles. Frank leads the team with 15 goals on the year.
  • October 24, 2005:
    Kara Hildebrand: Women's Volleyball:
    The first year outside hitter from New Holland, PA earned her second Player of the Week award for her 55 kills and 8 blocks in the Eagles 3-2 week.
  • October 24, 2005: 
    Dan Carvalho: Men's Soccer
    The Senior forward earned his third player of the week award for his three goal and one assist week. Carvalho tallied a single goal and earned an assist in the Eagles' 3-1 win over Cabrini and picked up a pair of goals in a 4-1 victory over William Paterson.
  • October 1, 2005 
    Erin Meredith: Women’s Volleyball: The senior setter and last season’s PAC Player of the Year recorded her 5,000 career assist in a 3-0 win over SUNY-Brockport on Friday. In doing so she becomes just the 22nd player to reach that milestone. She lead the undefeated Eagles, ranked 23rd in last week’s national poll, to a 6-0 week including a tournament victory at the MIT/Tufts invitational. The two time honorable mention All-American earned tournament MVP honors at Tufts, recorded 263 assists, 24 kills, 8 blocks, and 56 digs on the week. In the final match of the MIT/Tufts tournament, Meredith recorded 64 assists in a 3-2 win over Tufts. This is her second Player of the Week honor for the year. 
  • October1, 2005 
    Stephanie Frank: Women's Soccer The Junior forward scored five goals and registered three assists in a 3-0 week for the Eagles. She picked up three goals in a 6-0 win over Neumann College before scoring single tallies in wins against Cedar Crest and Gwynedd-Mercy. with the week’s work, Frank moved into second place on Eastern’s All-time list for points (98) and goals (40).
  • October1, 2005
    Daniel Carvalho: Men's Soccer: The senior forward earned his second consecutive Player of the Week award for his two goal and one assist week. Carvalho scored a single goal against Moravian and added a goal and an assist in Saturday’s 2-1 come from behind win at Wesley. Carvalho, with 13 goals and 3 assists on the year, has scored in six conscutive matches since moving to forward from the midfield. The 11-0 Eagles are ranked 12th in the most recent National Poll and second in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
  • September 26, 2005
    Daniel Carvalho, Men's Soccer: The senior forward from Moorestown, NJ scored five goals in a 3-0 week. Carvalho, who has played in the back and the midfield during his four year career, has 11 goals in Eastern's 9-0 start.
  • September 26, 2005
    Ashley Hackman, Women's Soccer: The first year midfielder from Perkasie, PA (Christopher Dock HS) scored three goals and registered three assists in a 3-0 week. Hackman has registered at least one point in each of the teams last six games.
  • September 19, 2005
    Kara Hildebrand, Volleyball: The first year outside hitter from Lancaster, PA registered 41 kills for the 25th ranked and unbeaten Eagles. In the last of Eastern's four wins this week she tallied an impressive 19 kills and earned all-tournament honors at Lebanon Valley. 
  • September19, 2005
    Jon Ruiz, Men's Soccer: The senior wing from Lititz, PA put an impressive string of games together as the unbeaten Eagles continue to roll. On Tuesday night, he scored two second half goals as the Eagles shocked then #8 Richard Stockton with a 3-1 come from behind win. On Saturday Ruiz turned provider serving up three assists in a 4-0 home win over Neumann. 
  • September 12, 2005
         Erin Meredith, Volleyball: The senior setter on the volleyball team earned Pennsylvania Athletic Conference player of the week honors for the weeks ending September 11, 2005. Meredith, the 2004 PAC player of the year, was instrumental in helping the Eagles to a 9-0 start, including tournament wins at F&M and Gettysburg. For the nine games, she amassed a stunning 360 assists, 97 digs, 39 kills, and 23 aces. Meredith earned all-tournament selection at Gettysburg and MVP at F&M.
