Angels of Harmony - A multi-ethnic gospel choir that performs music from the African-American church tradition. (Can be taken for academic credit)
The Barry School - Commodore Barry Elementary School in West Philadelphia provides opportunities for service including tutoring and leading recreational activities.
Black Student League (BSL) - Open to all students, the BSL seeks to provide social, service and spiritual activities from an African-American perspective.
Christ's Hands In Action (CHIA) - These students minister to those in need through the creation of crafts & other items.
The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) - A student group committed to serving children with autism, cerebral palsy and other special needs.
Earthkeepers - Students devoted to promoting proper stewardship of God's creation through education and service.
EU Student Athletic Trainers Association (ECSATA) - For students interested in the field of athletic training.
ETHEL'S Club - Calling all hepcats! Check out Eastern's Toe-tappin', High-Steppin', East coast, Lindy-hoppin' Swing Club.
Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education (EAPE) - Founded by Dr. Tony Campolo, this organization is a major outreach for young students in the inner cities of Philadelphia and Camden, NJ. (Tutoring and Bible Clubs)
Evangelicals for Social Action (ESA) - This group is committed to holistic Christian discipleship through Bible study, educational discussions, and creative action intended to bring about social change.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) - Challenges athletes and coaches in their relationship with Christ.
Habitat for Humanity - Eastern's chapter renovates abandoned or substandard housing to provide home-ownership opportunities for low-income families.
Inklings - Eastern's longstanding literary magazine which creates an outlet for the visual and written artistic voice of campus.
International Student Club - A group that works to build community, facilitate mutual awareness, and foster an appreciation and understanding of global cultures.
Latinos Unidos - An organization open to all students to educate people on the Latino heritage and history, centered on Christ, for spiritual, social, academic, & familial support.
Lev David - A group of Messianic Jewish and non-Jewish students who seek to express their Christian faith in a Jewish context.
The Log - Eastern's school yearbook, run by student staff.
The Music Guild - A booster club for EC music programs, created to raise awareness and funding.
The Outdoors Club - An organization that sponsors trips and activities to develop a better understanding and appreciation for the natural world that God created.
Pennsylvania Student Education Association (PSEA) - For anyone interested in the field of education. The group sponsors trips to conferences & fundraisers.
Prison Ministry - Students participate in worship services held every Friday at the Philadelphia House of Corrections. There are opportunities to meet informally with inmates before and after the service.
Remnant - This group ministers the Gospel through the synchronization of step movement, another form of worship.
Sacred Dance - This group's goal is the glorification of God through dance. Previous dance training is unnecessary; all who desire to express their faith through the art of human movement are invited to participate.
The Society for the Advancement of Political Awareness (SAPA) - These students promote awareness of political issues and encourage community discussion.
The student Activities Board (SAB) - These volunteers help plan, promote and run the films, dances, concerts, coffeehouses and more for Eastern's student body.
Student Government Association (SGA) - Elected by classmates, representatives help voice student concerns on campus.
Student Missions Fellowship (SMF) - A group organized to raise awareness and involvement in world missions through prayer, giving, and going.
Students Organized Against Racism (SOAR) - An organization united to provide avenues for racial justice and reconciliation on campus through meaningful dialogue, prayer and action.
Transformed! - A student-led drama team that uses contemporary theater as a means of proclaiming the gospel message. (Membership is by audition).
Ultimate Frisbee - On-campus games and local club tournaments, open to all.
Underground Music Collective - Students committed to promoting non-mainstream music.
The Waltonian - Student-run newspaper. Writers, editors, lay-out, and photographers welcome.
Watchmen Prayer Ministry - A ministry created to provide multiple outlets for the community to grow in prayer.
YACHT Club - Youth Against Complacency & Homelessness Today has many outreaches to the homeless.
