HOW TO USE THIS SITE: Materials below are important, and students and parents are responsible for reading and knowing the contents of everything posted here as well as the University Catalog and University Student Handbook. Even though we have broken up the material into primary interest groups for you, you will want to peruse all sections so that you don't miss anything.

Academic & Residence Life Calendar: Includes important information about the beginning of the semester, like when to arrive and when classes begin, as well as information about breaks and other very important dates you'll want to know.

Important Information about Health Insurance for All Students

ALL STUDENTS UPON ENTERING AND AGAIN EACH SUMMER FOR SUBSEQUENT YEARS OF ENROLLMENT AT EU MUST enroll in or waive the Eastern University Group Health Insurance plan provided by UnitedHealthcare.  It is up to the student to complete the appropriate online form on http://firststudent.com/schools/EasternUniversity.htm within the time frame.   All students MUST waive or enroll each year between July 1 - September 15 (or by January 15th for first time students entering in the spring) or they will automatically be enrolled in the University's Group Health Insurance Plan and be billed for a year of this insurance.  Once billed on the 15th of September or January, the charges CANNOT BE REVERSED and the student is enrolled even if they have other insurance.  IF YOU HAVE PRIVATE INSURANCE YOU MUST WAIVE THE EU GROUP PLAN BY SEPTEMBER 15.  If you need assistance in the waiver process, it is up to you to call Student Development to ask for help. Failure to enroll will result in a bill for this annual medical insurance plan.
