The Parent and Family Relations Office at Eastern University values, respects, and enjoys spending time with Eastern families. We work to serve parents, and we take great pleasure in doing so. Whether you are a first-time parent or have been involved in the Eastern Community for a year or more, the Office of Parent and Family Relations greets you.

Our responsibility and opportunity is to create and maintain strong connections between the University and parents as well as to help parents connect with each other. We encourage you to join other families on-campus for Homecoming and Family Weekend, Commencement, campus musicals, theatre productions, sporting events, and lectures. What is the Parents Council?

The Parents CouncilThe Eastern University Parents Council is a group of committed volunteers who support the University by hosting and attending local and regional events, helping with admission efforts, strengthening communication between families and the University, and supporting the Eastern Fund.

What is the Parents Prayer Team?

Thank you for considering the Eastern Parent Prayer Team for the academic year ahead. We are blessed with the opportunity to unite in prayer for Eastern students, faculty, and staff.

During the 2010-2011 academic year, we will be introducing a brief monthly email to cover general prayer needs. Our prayers always stimulate the heart of our mighty God.

How Can Parents Support the Eastern Fund?

Legacy Parent and Legacy Student at CommencementThe Eastern Fund is an important source of unrestricted support for Eastern University. Gifts to the Eastern Fund directly support students and programs. It assists students each and every day. Because tuition does not cover the complete cost of an Eastern University education, the Eastern Fund enhances your student's experience at Eastern. Eastern University relies on contributions from parents, alumni, foundations, corporations, churches, and friends of the University.

Your support of the Eastern Fund demonstrates your appreciation and ensures that quality resources and opportunities are available to your student and his or her peers. Your gifts are used for current expenditures supporting every aspect of campus life, providing scholarships, updating classroom equipment for today's changing world, and enhancing student activities and programs.

Every gift, of any size, makes a difference. The Eastern Fund is a collection of many gifts. Those parents making leadership gifts of $1,000 or more will become members of the President's Circle.

There are many ways that you can give to the Eastern Fund:
