Esperanza College Financial Aid


Nueva Esparanza CollegeAll Esperanza College Students are awarded the Esperanza Grant.  This grant is awarded each year as long as the FAFSA is complete and full-time status is maintained.  The Esperanza Grant, in combination with any Federal or State Grant eligibility, will not exceed half the cost of tuition.  For additional information regarding this grant opportunity please visit http://esperanza.eastern.edu.

How to Apply for Financial Aid in 3 Easy Steps

  1. Apply for a PIN number (student and parent) at www.pin.ed.gov.  This PIN number will serve as your electronic signature.
  2. Complete your FAFSA for the appropriate year on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  Use your PIN number to "sign your FAFSA on the web".  Eastern University's School Code is 003259.
  3. Visit www.StudentLoans.gov to complete both the Direct Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling.

You will be sent an award letter that details your Financial Aid eligibility.

In order to be eligible for any type of Financial Aid, you must:

  • Be fully accepted
  • Be enrolled in a degree seeking program (exception is Teacher Certification program) 
  • Be enrolled at least half-time- 6 credits for Undergraduate students
  • Transfer students must call 1-800-4FEDAID to add Eastern University to their FAFSA
