Eastern University, a university of the liberal arts and sciences located in St. Davids, Pennsylvania, invites applications for adjunct instructors in its accelerated adult-oriented programs of the School of Management Studies (SMS).  Opportunities exist for instructors at the associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s levels to teach online or evening classes at the following locations: Philadelphia: Center City, Falls Center, Mt. Airy, Airport; St. Davids (main campus); Central PA: Harrisburg, Lancaster, York.  Instructors are primarily needed in Philadelphia and Central PA classroom locations rather than online.

Qualifications:

• vibrant Christian faith (affirmation of Eastern’s doctrinal statement)
• master’s degree or higher in the discipline (or closely related discipline) you teach
• experience with adult learners
• professional expertise related to teaching discipline
• familiarity with educational technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, Blackboard) or teaching online

Instructors are needed in these disciplines:

• Associate of Arts level: accounting*, mathematics, statistics, biology, English, college writing, history of Western civilization
• Bachelor’s and Master’s level: accounting*, business law, economics*, finance*, health care management & administration*, health care accounting*, operations management, organizational theory, project management*, statistics, research methods

*Online faculty are not currently needed in these areas
