Eastern University, a university of the liberal arts and sciences located in St. Davids, PA, invites applications for an adjunct instructor positions in the Counseling Psychology Department. The Counseling Psychology Department is seeking qualified candidates for adjunct professor positions within the Applied Behavior Analysis concentration. Counseling Psychology at Eastern University, training effective practitioners for over a decade, is committed to preparing a diverse body of students to be competent and ethical practitioners who apply knowledge and skills gained from the thoughtful integration of the Christian faith and their respective disciplines in varied clinical and school settings. Graduates of Eastern University's programs are sought out by employers who know the quality of the training in the Counseling Psychology programs. The Department functions as a team to provide comprehensive instruction and mentoring that is holistic, addressing personal and professional development. The Counseling Psychology Department administers three graduate programs presently; M.A. in Counseling; M.S. in School Psychology; M.A. in School Counseling. Each of the two school programs meets Pennsylvania state certification guidelines. The Applied Behavior Analysis curriculum is designed to meet the educational requirements of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in the state of Pennsylvania. The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.® has approved the curriculum as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Examination®. QUALIFICATIONS: • Ph.D., Psy.D. Ed.D.or MS in: Applied Behavior Analysis or related degree Submit a cover letter to include a brief statement of your faith, current curriculum vitae/resume, and three letters of recommendations to Dr. Walter Chung at wchung@eastern.edu. • Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Ability to teach dynamically and contribute to curriculum development needs.
• Minimum 2 years clinical practice in applied behavior analysis
• PA Licensed Behavior Specialist preferred
