The Visiting Professor for the Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies (CCGPS) School of Management Studies (SMS) of Eastern University works with the SMS faculty team and CCGPS administrative team to teach a number of courses as well as take on special projects of strategic importance to the department.

Position Responsibilities

1. Assists in the development of the program’s curricula.
2. Assists in developing a comprehensive approach to faith integration across programs.
3. Assists in developing stronger ties with SMS alumni.
4. Helps to ensure that faculty and students receive quality service in delivery of the program.
5. Assists in faculty selection program.
6. Provides input into faculty and development issues.
7. Attends SMS faculty meetings.
8. Attends commencement ceremonies at the college and attends other college functions as appropriate.
9. Embodies values of caring and compassion, justice and integrity, competence and affirmation.
10. Seeks to treat each member of the campus community with fairness, dignity and respect seeking a spirit of unity and harmony as we join together to achieve our common mission.

Status: Visiting faculty, fulltime

Required credentials include a master’s degree in a business-related field; proven ability to collaborate with internal and external constituents; computer literacy (particularly in MS Office); excellent administrative skills and experience with office management; proven ability to communicate, both in written and oral form, to a broad constituency; and the ability to work well with adult students required.
