Eastern University, a university of the liberal arts and sciences located in St. Davids Pennsylvania, invites applications for a full-time tenure track assistant professor of social work position to begin in July 2013.

The position is in the CSWE-accredited BSW program located in the College of Arts and Sciences.  The BSW program is expanding to the site of Esperanza College of Eastern University that serves Hispanic and local communities in Philadelphia. The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of required courses, particularly in the social work practice, social welfare policy, and/or research sequences of the curriculum.  In addition, social work faculty may teach elective social work courses in an area of interest.  The candidate will also serve as the site director at Esperanza College.

Requirements include an M.S.W. degree, a minimum of two years post-M.S.W. practice experience, with a doctorate in social work. M.S.W. practitioners and/or educators actively pursuing a doctoral degree in social work will be considered.
