General Responsibilities:
Teach psychiatric/mental health nursing in the pre-licensure curriculum, which includes theory and clinical practica. Teach other nursing courses as assigned. Participate in academic advising, recruitment and retention activities, and committee work as per Eastern University faculty policy. Interested candidates will also have the opportunity to teach in the RN-BSN program.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Master’s degree in Nursing with mental health focus required. Doctorate in Nursing or related field or progress towards doctorate preferred. Teaching experience in BSN education and computer skills are essential. Must have current license as a registered nurse in PA or eligibility to obtain licensure in PA. Demonstrated clinical expertise in field is required. (Specialty certification is preferred, but not required).
