Helpdesk HomeStudent Advising Menu:
The Menu for Student Advising is shown below.
Remember that for each option you would choose, a particular student must be selected so that the program knows which student's information to return to you . To select a student, use the "get name" button or the "name lookup button".
If you already know the student's EU id number, then simply type it into the Student ID field and click on the "get name" button.
If you do not know the student's EU id number, you may look it up by hitting the "name lookup" button. After pressing this button you will see the screen below. Type in the last name of the student followed by a comma and a space. Then type in any portion of the first name followed by the * (see the example below).
After clicking on the "execute search" button, you will find a screen that comes up with a list of student's matching the search criteria and their corresponding EU id number.
Click on the name of the student whose information you want to display and click on the "Select ID" button. At this point, you are now able to retrieve information on the selected student by choosing any of the services on the menu.
