What is

MyAthens

 

MyAthens, a service of Warner Memorial Library, is your personal portal to the Library's databases. MyAthens makes the database resources available to you from any location. MyAthens is an Access Management System that simplifies remote access to the electronic resources available through the Library.  Your MyAthens account enables you to view and use the resources you are entitled to access.

MyAthens accounts are available to current faculty, staff and students of Eastern University.

Requesting a MyAthens Account

  1. You can obtain a MyAthens account from the Reference Desk in Warner Memorial Library, by calling 610-341-1777 or via e-mail reference1777@eastern.edu. Be prepared with your Eastern email account username and your E-Card student ID Number.
  2. You will receiveyou your MyAthens information via your e-mail account.
  3. Once you have received and viewed the email you may login to your MyAthens account. (Note a prefix "wml", standing for Warner Memorial Library", is added to every username by the MyAthens system as an organizational ID. This cannot be changed.)
  4. Once logged in you will be asked to accept the terms of use. Simply select the check box "Yes" and you will be taken to your MyAthens account.
  5. The Library's databases activated for MyAthens are found by selecting the Resources tab.
