What are RSS feeds?

RSS stands for Really Simply Syndication. Sometimes refered to as web feeds, RSS is a way of delivering regularly changing website content. Feed readers (Bloglines, Google Reader, My Yahoo!, etc.) collect this content in one place, allowing you to easily stay informed about the newest content (news headlines, blog postings, video uploads, podcasts, etc.). They also save you time by eliminating the need to individually visit each site.

The folks at Common Craft created a wonderful short & explanative video about RSS feeds and why they're so great. View it by clicking here: RSS in Plain English.

Below is a list of Warner Library RSS feeds that can be subscribed to using your favorite feed reader. Don't know how to use a feed reader? Watch our 5 minute tutorial on using Google Reader to collect & store your RSS feeds.
