This year’s Commencement speaker is Mr. Webster M. Fitzgerald.  In 1993, Mr. Fitzgerald joined the faculty of Eastern, where he taught until serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President for Organizational Development from 2005-2008.  He also spent more than 10 years as executive director and national director of various Opportunity Industrialization Center programs in addition to Director of Organizational Development and Human Resources for the Morton-Norwich and Smith Kline Beecham Corporation, followed by three years as Special Assistant to the Mayor of Philadelphia.  He is the recipient of more than 15 significant civic and community service awards and remains active in the Roman Catholic Church and at this University. 

No one will be admitted to the ceremonies without a ticket, which were distributed to students in their Commencement brochures.  Overflow seating for guests without tickets will be available in the McInnis Auditorium where the ceremony will be viewed via closed-circuit television.  Visitors may park in the main campus lots or residence hall lots along Eagle Road; security staff will be directing motorists to available parking.
