Yes! And…’s A Winter Sort of Thing presents The Clean Green Machine
St. Davids, PA, January 21, 2009: What would you do if it was your job to make sure the lions and tigers got along? To make sure that the rivers run the right way and the snow falls in the right season? Find out what happens when we don't take care of the earth the way we should in Yes! And...'s second annual A Winter Sort of Thing, a brand new musical for children and adults, January 29 - February 1 at Eastern University. The musical will be presented in McInnis Auditorium at the campus located at 1300 Eagle Road, St. Davids, PA.
Show times are January 29 - 7p.m.; January 30 - 11:30a.m. (for schools) and 7p.m.; January 31 - 11:30a.m. and 7p.m.; and February 1 - 3p.m. Ticket prices are $5 with Eastern University ID; $8 Seniors and Children under 12;

Chosen as a top weekend pick by the Philadelphia Inquirer in 2008, Yes!And...'s A Winter Sort of Thing - The Clean Green Machine, presents the perfect family event, with the opportunity to meet and interact with the characters in the lobby before the show. Featuring a talented cast of children and adults, the show will keep everyone on their toes with fast-paced dances, catchy tunes, and crazy winter adventures.
This musical was created by engaging Philadelphia children, students from Eastern University, and Philadelphia-based performance artists. "Once again, this show brings together such a talented group with such a variety of life experience," says Co-Director and Playwright Brooke Sexton. "When the actors come together, their differences fade and they bring such incredible creative energy to the stage."
"My children could not stop talking about this show last winter and were singing the songs for weeks," says parent Rebekah Barrus of Delaware. "We can't wait to see what the crazy crew at Yes! And... has come up with this year!"
Yes! And... Collaborative Arts iMagination Programming is an independent arts education organization dedicated to offering comprehensive, diverse, challenging and creative programming to underserved children and communities in the Philadelphia area.
