Hello, my name is Rebekah Ostby and I am the Assistant Director of Student Services, serving all Eastern University students. However, being located out of the Harrisburg Office, I focus on the students in Central PA (sites in Harrisburg and Lancaster) and online. My role is to be a point of contact for our students throughout their time in the program, striving to help provide the best experience possible.
I spent three wonderful years living and learning at Eastern’s main campus in St. Davids, PA as a student in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). In May of 2010, I graduated with a degree in Business Management with the goal to serve the non-profit sector of the business world.
One of the things I grew to love during my time as a student with Eastern was the community. Community encourages growth in every area of our lives – academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually. My goal is help foster the community here in Central PA while serving and supporting each student who comes through our doors. We all have busy lives and I am here to help make each person’s educational experience the best it can be, amidst the craziness of the everyday. I am learning, and hope to share with others, the importance of finding the “joy in the journey” and living each day as a gift from the Lord.
I am recently married to my wonderful husband, who is also now joining the Eastern student body.  While both of us are originally from Connecticut, we have quickly fallen in love with Pennsylvania and have enjoyed making it our home.

Hi, my name is Kathy Fitchett and I am the Student Services office assistant working out of the Harrisburg office. My role is to provide office support for Student Services as well as support services for students attending evening classes in Harrisburg. My favorite thing about working at Eastern is having opportunities to serve the students and my co-workers. I enjoy helping provide an atmosphere of love, affirmation, and encouragement.
I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught kindergarten and first grade in my local school system before transitioning to teaching my children at home. I home schooled my three children all the way through school for a total of nineteen years. Now that they have all graduated, I am pursuing a call to ministry and attending school full time.
When I am not working or at school, my favorite activity is traveling, for pleasure or for missions. I love seeing the many ways God has expressed Himself through creation. I am passionate about speaking life, love, and hope into desperate situations. I also have enjoyed the privilege of planning and leading many mission trips for my church.
Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” One of my greatest joys is helping others understand the freedom that results from knowing how much God loves them.

Erica Koup is the Enrollment Counselor for B.S in Business Administration and Fast Track M.B.A in Management for the Harrisburg site. Erica received her B.S in Political Science with a concentration in American Government from North Georgia College. She resides in the suburbs of Harrisburg and attended Central Dauphin high school. Previously, Erica has worked in Governor Tom Corbett's administration and for the College Republican National Committee. Erica is very active in the Central Pennsylvania community, serving on numerous non-profit committees and volunteering her time for local organizations. Currently, Erica is dynamically involved with Jr. Achievement, Estamos Unidos de Pennsylvania, Dress for Success South Central PA, Sigma Kappa, Harrisburg Civic Club and is a political activist on a local and state wide level. Hello, my name is Ashley Conway and I’m the Assistant Director of Enrollment at Eastern University’s Central PA location, which reaches out to the Harrisburg, York and Lancaster communities.
My husband, myself and our two Chihuahua pups moved to Central Pennsylvania from Missouri when my husband took a residency position at Hershey Medical Center in the summer of 2011. We welcomed our first child, Amelia Jean, in February 2012 and our world will forever be changed. We love the small town feel that this area has to offer and we hope to explore more of the surrounding areas in the near future. We love occupying our time by traveling the world, being outdoors and just making the most of our time in any given situation.
I’m excited to see what God has in store for me at Eastern and how I can best meet the needs of Eastern students.

Hello! My name is Sarah Deysher and I’m an enrollment counselor for Eastern University’s Central PA location in Harrisburg. I work specifically with students interested in the Bachelors in Early Childhood Education program. I am originally from the Reading, PA area but found myself nesting in Central PA after attending Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA. I graduated with degrees in biology and English and after a brief stint working in sales in Baltimore, MD, I returned to Central PA to work in higher education at my alma mater.
The Lancaster and Harrisburg area is certainly home to me now as I continue to pursue my interest in working with people to help them achieve their dreams and goals in education at Eastern University. I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and boyfriend, reading, running and being outside. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this program. Hi, my name is Heidi Wrights and I am the Academic Advisor for the Loeb School of Education at our Central PA location for both our undergraduate and graduate programs. I grew up in Newport, PA, a small town north of Harrisburg. In September of 2009, I married my best friend Josh and moved to York County. Our interests include, playing with our dachshund, spending time with family and friends, patronizing mom and pop restaurants and fishing at state parks.
I have been at Eastern since October 2008, and have developed several lasting relationships. Before becoming an academic advisor, I served as an education recruiter and mentor. During my tenure, I have thoroughly enjoyed advising my students and watching them grow academically and professionally.
