To be able to teach foreign language (Spanish, French or Mandarin Chinese) in a Pennsylvania (PA) public secondary school, students need to elect the first major in either language and the secondary major in language certification. Â In addition to completing requirements in their major, they need to fulfill the following requirements. Students may complete the professional semester requirements in the graduate year if they elect the BS/M. Ed. Combined 5-year program.
