B.S./M.Ed. Multicultural Education

This 30-credit program is designed for Eastern undergraduate students who are enrolled in a teaching certification BA/BS program and wish to complete student teaching as graduate students while completing the M.Ed. in Multicultural Education program in their fifth year, or who are enrolled in a non-certification BA/BS program and wish to complete the M.Ed. in Multicultural Education program with ESL concentration in their fifth year.

Course Requirements: Certification Track

To be admitted into the program, applicants must pass PPST I tests in reading, writing, and mathematics and PPST II test(s) in their certification area and complete undergraduate coursework in their major.  EDU 200, 412, 417 and Statistics are prerequisites to the program.  If they have not completed EDU 200, 412 or 417 as undergraduates, they must complete EDU 500, 512, 517 and 521 at the graduate level.

To be admitted into the program, applicants must complete undergraduate coursework in their major.  EDU 200, EDU 412, EDU 417 and Statistics are prerequisites to the program.  If they have not completed EDU 417 as undergraduates, they must complete EDU 517 at the graduate level.
