Eastern University Winter Commencement Saturday, December 14
St. Davids, PA, November 6, 2013: Eastern University will hold its two Winter Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 14, on the campus at 1300 Eagle Road in St. Davids, PA. The morning Commencement at 10 a.m. will be held for students in the College of Arts and Sciences, Esperanza College, and the Associate's Degree, School of Management Studies, and Accelerated Education Program in the Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies. The afternoon Commencement at 2:30 p.m. will be held for students in the Doctoral, Graduate and Nursing Programs in the Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies.

The speaker for both ceremonies is Reverend Dr. Alyn E. Waller. As the Senior Pastor of the Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA, Rev. Dr. Alyn E. Waller is a sought after revivalist, lecturer, author, singer and musician. In his community outreach, Dr. Waller has established the Enon-Coulter Community Development Corporation to provide educational and support services to children and families. He is also an advocate for children in the Philadelphia School District and involved with numerous service organizations.
In his international outreach, Dr. Waller focuses on Africa where Enon teams have been involved with a number of missionary and development projects. As a songwriter, musician and vocalist, Dr. Waller shares the message of Christ's love through song. Dr. Waller earned a BA in music business from Ohio University, a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Seminary). He was ordained in 1988 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Cleveland.
