School Year Student Staff
Our Student Staff during the school year help the Conferences Department with office work and special events. They are responsible for event setups, filing, data entry, invoice and checking entry, copying, deliveries, mailing, phones, and organization. Our students gain work and office experience that will be very beneficial to them after their college careers.
If you are interested in becoming part of Conference’s student staff, speak with Meggin in April for the upcoming school year.
Lifeguards of Eastern University Pool
The Lifeguards of the Eastern University Pool are on duty from Spring Commencement through Labor Day. You can find them taking care of the pool, up on the Lifeguard stand, teaching swimming lessons, always looking after the pool patrons, and helping Conferences out when needed.
The Conference and Special Events Department is looking for hard working Eastern University CAS students to be Lifeguards and an Assistant Pool Manager for the summer of 2013. If you are interested, please fill out the appropriate application. Applications are due March 15, 2013 by 5pm.

Conference Assistants
The Conference Assistant position is a fusion of many different types of work. Our CAs are expected to act as front desk attendants, resident assistants, housekeepers, setup crew, office assistants, and all over jack-of-all-trades. We never know what may come up during the Summer Conference Season, but we know we can always count on our CAs to help serve our guests while representing Eastern’s Christian Hospitality Ministry. There is never a dull moment for our CAS during the summer and we are so glad that they are always willing to help!
The Conference and Special Events Department is looking for hard working Eastern University students to be CAs for the summer of 2013. If you are interested, please fill out the appropriate CA application. Applications are due March 1, 2013 by 5pm. If you are interested in working the Office of Event Logistics, please fill out the OCA application. They are also due on March 1, 2013 by 5pm.

Special Events Crew
Our Special Events Crew are the students we know we can rely on to assist during the busy times of the school year. They are there to assist during Commencement, Homecoming, and any other important events where the Conferences Department may need some extra hands. We are so lucky to have such great students we can count on when we need them!
