Photography and Videography Policy
The Communications and Public Relations Office offers photography and videography for marketing-related events. The photographs and video taken are for news releases, Spirit Magazine, marketing pieces and the University Web site. Communications cannot photograph or videotape events or programs intended for internal or archival use only. These requests should be forwarded to the Instructional Technology Support Center (ITSC). To download a project request form, click here, and e-mail it to Jason James, Graphic Designer/ Office Coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org). Note that project requests are for on-campus St. Davids only. Communications has very limited capacity to handle off-campus requests and you may have to make other arrangements.
The Communications and Public Relations Office requires a minimum of three weeks notice for project requests. Due to a high volume of requests, the Communications and Public Relations Office reserves the right to opt out of events. You will be presented with alternatives such as student videographers (when available) or commercial firms that you may hire. The responsibility for photography/videography ultimately rests with the program or event planner.
