MFUGE Camps at Eastern

What is MFUGE?

MFUGE is a division of Lifeway FUGECamps with a focus on missions and service to local communities. Participants engage in worship, Bible studies, fellowship, and a variety of mission projects aimed at challenging students while broadening their commitment to the Gospel message.

MFUGE is a program in which individual youths choose a ministry track and serve with students and staff from up to fifteen other churches. For those churches who want to serve together, XFUGE provides the opportunity for them to stay in the same ministry track and enjoy tackling projects together.

Ministry track options include: Children’s Ministry, Games and Recreation, Painting/Construction/Yardwork, and Social and Homeless Ministry.

MFUGE at Eastern

Since 1999, Eastern has hosted MFUGE camps throughout the summer conference season. During this time, the University Auditorium is skillfully converted into a worship center where worship sessions take place daily. Various meeting rooms on campus provide space for Bible Study, Church Group Devotion Time, and fellowship opportunities. Camp participants also have the chance to use our tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, turf fields, and outdoor pool. Meals are provided by Sodexo in the university dining commons with a wide variety of options, including: daily entrée, vegetarian options, salad bar, sandwich bar, pizza bar, grill, and dessert room. Sodexo is also happy to accommodate dietary needs and restrictions. Boys and girls enjoy separate, air conditioned accommodations in university residence halls.
