Important Update for Student Employment Paychecks
Payroll Direct Deposit is now available for student workers. Direct deposit is convenient and secure with no need to worry about lost or stolen checks because the funds are automatically transferred into your bank account and available on the pay date.
In order to sign up for Direct Deposit, you must complete the Student Payroll Direct Deposit Authorization Form. Once you have completed the form online, print, sign, and submit it along with a voided check to the Financial Aid Office. If you do not have a check, please contact your bank or log into your online banking to obtain the appropriate and complete account information. Illegible or incomplete Direct Deposit forms will cause a delay in the processing of your Direct Deposit request. Keep in mind that it will take one to two pay periods from the time you submit the completed form for deposits to take effect.
It is important that you understand the rights and responsibilities you have when signing up for Direct Deposit. By signing the Direct Deposit Form, you are authorizing Eastern University to initiate credit entries to the account indicated on the form, and the bank named on the form to credit the same amount to your account. Your Direct Deposit request will remain in full force and effect until Eastern University’s Payroll Department has received written notification from you of its termination or amendment. Such notification shall be received by Eastern University’s Payroll Department at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of the change.
If you have any questions regarding these changes, please contact Andréa Ruth at email@example.com.
