New Student FAQs - Accelerated Students
Student Services has created an online orientation and resource guide delivered through Adobe Connect that you may review at your own pace. It has instructional guides as well as useful links that are extremely important for you to have access. For example, you will find out how to submit a photo for a photo id, fill out parking permit information (if needed), how to order books, find course information and much, much more. You may access the orientation by going to: http://tiny.cc/euorientation. Log in as a guest and you will be ready to go. Undergraduate students will also have an on-site orientation near the start of the program. Student Services will contact you via email with the date and details of this event.
Your Eastern username and password will be mailed to you upon application to your program. If you did not receive this or need a refresher, please email email@example.com and your Student Services Representative will provide you with all your information.
myEastern (my.eastern.edu) is your own customized portal that allows you to log in and view all your personal information, including student schedule, financial aid awards, tuition bill and much, much more. The above mentioned orientation covers this system in detail.
Your tuition is due the 15th of the month prior to the start of the new session/term, either by completing the financial aid process, paying in full, or setting up a payment plan. Once you are registered for classes, you will have access to the “Student Accounts” tab when you log into MyEastern (my.eastern.edu). Go to CashNet to view your billing statement. Your account must be paid in full prior to the start of your session. Any questions regarding your bill should be directed to:
Once you are accepted for classes, you will have access to the “Financial Aid” tab when you log into MyEastern (my.eastern.edu). To see the bottom line cost for your first term, go to the “Student Accounts” tab and view your Course & Fee Statement. Any questions regarding your financial aid should be directed to:

To view your required booklist, follow the steps below. You can either order directly from the bookstore, or use the information purchase books elsewhere. More details the Bookstore and how to bill the cost of books to your student account can be found by clicking here for Undergraduate students and here for Graduate students.
To access the Follett’s bookstore website, follow these steps:
- Go to www.eastern.edu
- Click on Quick Links in the top right hand corner of the page
- Select Bookstore
- Choose the second bookstore link for the Falls Center Bookstore
- Hover over the tab called Books and then select Textbooks & Course Materials
- Use the drop down boxes to select your course and view the required course books
Your cohort’s classroom is listed on the top right-hand side of your cohort schedule. Unless notified otherwise, this will be your classroom for the duration of the program.
To be best prepared do the following:
- Complete the Online Orientation
- Purchase your textbooks
- Review the course material/syllabus posted on your Blackboard course (explained in orientation)
- Check your Eastern Email
- Complete Financial Aid process or Tuition Payment Plan
