PhD in Organizational Leadership

Welcome to Eastern University’s Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership Program

PhD Students

This program offers interdisciplinary training for individuals who currently occupy positions of leadership in business, education or non-profit sectors. The aim of the program is to equip students with the skills and knowledge they will need in order to effectively engage in the transformation of their organizations, communities and society and to influence positive, meaningful change as practitioners and scholars in their chosen fields.

Our delivery system enables students to balance school with work. Each term begins with a residency session, during which students gather on the St. David’s campus for three days of lectures, small group sessions and advising. The residency is then followed by 10 weeks of intensive on-line instruction.

Our delivery system enables students to balance school with work.

The Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership program encourages students to analyze significant texts, complete original research projects, and to apply their knowledge within the context of their professional vocations, while engaging with and learning from their fellow students and professors.

The program is founded upon many years of academic strength and innovation in business, education and non-profit programs, as well as Eastern’s core commitment to preparing its students for thoughtful and productive lives of Christian faith and service.
