CONTRIBUTORS
JoAnn Allison is completing an M. Ed in Multicultural Education at Eastern. She works as a speech/language Pathologist and Coordinator of Elwyn Inc. (an early intervention education provider) in Philadelphia, PA.
Stefanie Bloom is an elementary education student in Eastern Colleges five-year B.A./M.Ed. program. She hopes to teach fifth or sixth grade. Stefanie enjoys playing her clarinet, writing, and theatre; she recently appeared in Easterns production of Fiddler on the Roof.
Heewon Chang, Ph.D, Assistant Professor of Multicultural Education at Eastern, has studied adolescents from the U.S., Korea and Germany. Her Adolescent life and ethos (1992) is based on the U.S. study.
Cris Cullinan is currently responsible for faculty and other employee training and development for the University of Oregon and is a doctoral candidate in educational leadership, technology and administration.
David Greenhalgh, Associate Professor at Eastern, has been in education for almost 30 years as a classroom teacher, special educator, principal, consultant and professor. His research interest lies in character education.
Jeanne Zimmerly Jantzi and her family had worked in communities in Zaire (now Congo) and Nigeria with Mennonite Central Committee during 1989-1997. Since 2001 they have served in Indonesia with MCC. She has completed a M. S. degree in Economic Development from Eastern University.
James Mullooly, M. Phil. in Education Anthropology, Teachers College, Columbia University and M.A. in TEFL from the American University in Cairo, is currently conducting dissertation research in a Latino middle school.
Nadine Scott, a senior at Eastern College, is an elementary and special education major. She is committed to teaching in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area.
Jessica Smith, a senior at Eastern, is studying elementary education. When not studying, she keeps herself busy playing lacrosse.
Michelle Snyder, born in Brooklyn, New York, is now a country girl living in the Pocono Mountain area in Pennsylvania. As a sophomore at Eastern she double-majors in English Literature and Writing.
Cynthia Tuleja, a graduate of Smith College and a former high school English teacher, is completing an M. Ed. in Multicultural Education from Eastern College and works as Review Editor for EMME.
