CONTRIBUTORS
Cynthia Cohen, Ph. D., is the Coexistence Program Director at Brandeis University's International Center for Ethics, Justice and Public Life. She founded, and for ten years directed, the Boston-area Oral History Center.Marcy L.Garriott is President and Founder of La Sonrisa Productions, a non-profit video production company dedicated to creating exceptional educational, documentary, and community service programs.
Elain Hoffman is a senior majoring special education at Eastern College. She spent the Spring of 1999 in Belize to learn about multiculturalism in the society.
Leah D. Miller is a faculty member in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at National-Louis University. She is interested in classroom pedagogy and the role the language plays in it.
Elsa L. Statzner holds a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. She taught in schools in her native Argentina, Europe, and the U.S. Her interests are school/classroom ethnography and minority education.
Show Ei Tun is a sophomore at Eastern College. In 1997 she came to the United States to study economics and finance as an international student. Her family still lives in her hometown, Taunggyi, in Myanmar.
Kathryn Wilson has a Ph.D. in Folklore and Folklife from the University of Pennsylvania. She currently works as Public Programming Coordinator at the Balch Institute for Ethnic Studies in Philadelphia.
