Heewon Chang, Ph. D., an educational anthropologist with special interests in multicultural education, ethnography of adolescents, and Asian-American issues, directs the M. Ed. in Multicultural Education program at Eastern College.  She founded EMME in 1998 and has been editing the magazine since then.  (Contact her at hchang@eastern.edu

John T. Denny, Ph. D., is Assistant Professor in National Kaohsiung Normal University & Foo-Yin Institute of Technology in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.  He teaches English as a foreign language and conceptualizes methods for more efficient language education. (Contact him at timdenny66@yahoo.com)

Timothy Dodd is currently a graduate student in the M. Ed. in Multicultural Education program at Eastern College and will student-teach for Secondary School Certification in Social Studies in the Fall of 2001.  His undergraduate work was completed at Wesleyan University in Comparative Religion and African Studies.  He has traveled and worked in Africa and Central America.  (Contact him at timofeev@hotmail.com)

Sarah Woodbury Haug is an affiliated faculty member at Penn State University. Her present interests include children’s multi-ethnic identity, inter-ethnic relations, and alternative methods of education. (Contact her at dshaug@neteze.com)

Ann Mason has taught in many different countries and metropolitan schools in South Australia for 25 years. In 1999 she began teaching at Pulteney Grammar School in which she explored peace education possibilities with children and built Pulkids utilizing her computing skills and the Internet. Mae Lombos Wlazlinski, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Education and Coordinator of English as a Second Language Program at Berry College, Mount Berry, GA.  She teaches Culture, Language and Minority Education; Exploration in Diverse Cultures; Applied Linguistics; and Methods of Teaching ESOL.
